Speaker: Martin Koenig, IDFG
Martin Koenig is the Sportfishing Program Coordinator with the Idaho Department of Fish and Game. He holds a BS in Wildlife/Fish/Conservation Biology from UC Davis and a MS in Fisheries Biology from Utah State University. Martin started in Idaho as a researcher working across the state evaluating alpine lakes and hatchery programs. More recently, he worked for 2 years as a regional biologist in the Southwest Region before moving to the Headquarters in Boise. He currently works on a mix of species conservation plans and marketing programs to promote sportfishing. Martin is an angling addict and loves talk about fishing and fish biology.
