BT’s Fly Tying Friday, 24 February 2023, 6 PM MST, Susan Parsons A Metolius Caddis
Susan Parsons from Lakeview Arkansas will show how to tie a “Metolius Caddis”. This fly was discovered stuck in a bush by the late Steve Sobieniak of Lanesboro Minnesota, who went on to successfully fish it, tie it, and sell it in his shop in Lanesboro. Susan is hoping someone on the presentation will know more of the history of this very fish-eatable fly. Time permitting, Susan will also demonstrate how she quickly ties another fly that should be in all angler’s box, Ed Story’s Crackleback, using Uni Stretch.
