BT’s Fly Tying Friday: The Beattys – New Tool & Material Creep

This Friday is the first presentation of the Fall/Winter season. We are using this episode to do a shake-down run on the equipment and to set the tone for the rest of the season. Our topic this week (rather than a fly) is the role territory plays in a well-tied fly whether it is destined for a fly-tying competition or your personal fly box. Usually, we start the program with the “main topic” but tonight is different. We are starting with the WEEKLY TIP. In this case, it’s a new tool never before seen in the fly-tying world. HINT: It comes from the garden! You’ll just have to join us to learn about it. Also, we’ll be starting a new and exciting part of the SHARING section; it will take some time to explain so plan to keep any of your “sharing ideas, etc.” to 3 minutes or less.
